Message: Hello Zippy! I am Cookie's mom. Cookie came from the Michigan Humane Society as an owner give-up (allergies). She is a red/white pembroke and really smart! She hardly ever barks but when she does, I pay attention! She only barks with good reason. She LOVES chewing rawhide which she does with great gusto every evening in front of the TV. We love the Schoolbus costume. In fact, Cookie is embarassed to admit, one of our nicknames for her (besides Twinkie) is school bus butt! One day, Cookie was visiting at my parents' house--their property backs up to the school house driveway turnaround . . . and Cookie got out through a hole in the fence and went round and round, just like the big school buses. We think you are very cute, Zippy and just as smart as can be. Do you like to sleep on the people's bed? Do you find it hard to watch your weight? Cookie eats Eukanuba lowfat, for less active dogs. My mom spends all her time updating the website about Schnauzers that need homes - most of them come from shelters like Daisey did, and they live with us or some of our friends untill we find new homes for them. My sister and one of my brothers came from shelters, Mom found me on a busy street (my people didn't want me back when she found them, though I was 7 years old - I'm now 15) and my other brother was given to us by the man who bought him and then married someone who didn't like dogs (who could marry someone like that?) Mom says good for your Mom for giving good info on your breed, promoting adoption and spay/neuter. She also says if we win the lottery, can we commission you to do some Schnauzer games? All of us Schnauzers can dance - it doesn't matter if we came from a shelter or not!
